Father Alberto Pérez-Aguayo is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. He is the eighth of nine siblings. He entered the Guadalajara Seminary at the age of 16 while attending high school. He also studied at the Monte Ángel Seminary, in Oregon, where he graduated in Philosophy and Religious Studies. He completed his Theology studies at St. Patrick's Seminary, Menlo Park CA (Sacred Theology Bachelor & Master in Divinity).

He was ordained Priest on May 23, 2014 at Oakland Cathedral. His first assignment was to the parish of St. Anthony of Padua, Oakley, CA as Parochial Vicar. He currently provides his ministerial service as Vicar in the Parish of St. Joseph the Worker, St. Ambrose both Parishes in Berkeley, and St. Augustine, Oakland.

Fue ordenado Presbítero el 23 de Mayo del 2014 en la Catedral de Oakland. Como primer destino estuvo en la parroquia de San Antonio de Padua, Oakley, CA como Vicario Parroquial. Actualmente presta su servicio ministerial como Vicario en la Parroquia de San José Obrero, San Ambrosio y San Agustin.
